Because the Senate is going to be literally decided by, like, 1 seat or so, I really can't in all honesty vote for a Democrat in 2012; if this was 2004 or 2008, where control wasn't really seriously up for grabs, I might've been able to vote for a Democrat in good conscience that I was voting for the person, not the party (I supported Ted Strickland for Governor in 2010), but you can't really do that in 2012. In cases where the Republican is really awful, I either endorse the Libertarian (Michigan, Missouri, Montana) or clench my teeth and support the Republican (North Dakota, West Virginia). The Democrat who came closest to my support was Jon Tester, in Montana, followed closely by Joe Manchin in WV and Heidi Heitkamp in ND.
