In other words, Party ID on that Virginia poll is D+11. It was D+6 in 2008. So, uhh, yeah.

Also, despite the shift in party ID from their last poll (their last poll was D+7), the race remains unchanged essentially (Obama led 49-45%, by the same four point margin, back in August).

There are almost certainly more Democrats in VA today than there were in 2008.

So Romney wins I by 11 in VA, by 6 in WI and lose by 1 in CO.

In the 3 states, Republicans seem more energized than democrats (at leat, it's equal).

Conclucion: the party id of these polls is an outrage.

98% of WI Dems and 97% of CO Dems and 95% of VA Dems vote for Obama.

Are these new records ?

It's so cool to act tough on a political message board. Now flex those muscles!

At this momment, it's pretty hilarious to call democrats "losers", specially when our candidate is leading in OH, FL, VA, WI, NV and IA.

Party ID is a dependent variable of voter intention, and bears only a weak relationship with it. There's a reason why pollsters don't weight by party ID.

I'd rather be creaming my pants with glee than be in your situation which is "choking the chicken" using your own tears (produced by the recent polling) as lube.

I wouldn't be shocked if the Colorado November 6 average is something like Obama 47-46 and then Obama wins 52-47.
