The good people of Iowa are coming around to Romney's message of strengthening the middle class, ensuring work in welfare and cutting spending.

This state is truly Mitt's 270+ ace in the hole.

How is this great news?  Rasmussen's June poll had Romney getting 47% in Iowa, this one has him getting 46%.  Granted the margin improved by 1% because Obama went from 46 to 44%. But none of the differences between the June and August polls are greater than even half the MoE.  It is good news for Romney in that Iowa is maintaining its greater than national swing for Romney, which he needs to have any chance of getting Iowa with his current polling. However,  he needs to improve his polling, not maintain it if he is to have a chance to win nationally.

Which brings me to make this point: Over here, whenever a poll is published, the percentage changes from the pollster's previous poll are almost always noted. In America, this doesn't seem to be the case. Why is this?

Krazen is more interested in restricting the "bad" voters more than generating new and enthusiastic ones. "Bad" voters include:

  • Students
  • Blacks
  • Asians
  • Hispanics
  • Teachers
  • Union workers
  • Animal rights activists
  • Gays
  • Atheists
  • Immigrants
  • Poor people
  • Muslims
  • Feminists
  • Reformed criminals
  • Anyone of middle eastern descent
  • The uninsured
  • Public workers
  • Women

In Krazen's dream world, all of the above are stripped of the franchise.

No, you don't understand, There's an ARMY of white straight Christian males who are not voting in Iowa. Something like 10 million of them. 10 million or 200,000, depending on who's counting. Maybe 5.

Generating new voters was obviously (to anyone who's been following Iowa) alluding to the increase in republican registration, even after the caucus.

I know a lot of things that you don't, but that's hardly news to anyone, is it?

Contrary to Marokia's nonsensical rant, Iowa Republicans have been locating new voters and growing their sizable advantage in voter registration for months now. These voters are likely white and in any case furious at the current state of the Democratic party.

Why? And what do you mean by "current state"? Is the party too diverse for their tastes? Would they prefer it whiter and more male?

Why? Because these voters have decided that the Democratic party does not serve their interests and values and have, thus, left. As a result Iowa Democrats have been losing voter registration especially in the western half of the state.

I am sorry if this bothers you.

Romney is posting floor numbers again, if you look at a lot of polls, he is only at the Republican floor in some states. Where is the growth? It's doesn't seem to be happening.

Well, honestly, if you distill the retarded, nazi, skinhead, master race rubbish, then it could just be accepted, as black pride is, as gay pride is, as aboriginal pride is.
