I know two Oxford alumni that if you combined together you would make that person... and they're both conservatives though one supported Bernie Sanders in 2016. So I'd say based on that they too are a bit of an oddball and idealist, and either someone flirting with ideology but votes Conservative because the social order benefits them/they find too many issues with their idealist dream to put it into practice or someone who is an avid left-winger based on moral grounds. In the US they'd either be a partisan Democrat or a Lincoln Project Republican, both on moral grounds.

Next person:
Gender - Male
Age - 22
Sexuality - Straight
Relationship Status - Single, but with custody of an unexpected newborn child.
Religion - Brought up Evangelical Christian but lacking in faith.
Hometown - a town of 50k in Middlesex County, NJ.
Education/Occupation - Studying at a community college. Did several low-paid jobs on the side.
Hobbies/Interests - Sports/outdoor recreation generally, visiting 'the big city', learning new skills, psychology.
Other - Most of their family are evangelicals, and their relationship was strained by the revelation that he had a child, though they occasionally help care for it. He has one less religious uncle whom he spends a lot of time with.

I deliberately left out their ethnicity.

A lot of people who fit that sort of description are positively awful, though I'm not saying that applies to this person, I thought it might be you or a friend. He reminds me of those awful uni Conservative club types who go rowing and debate euthanasia.

I'm going to ignore his interests and his drug use for this and say he's a fairly standard Democrat, his interest in history and politics doesn't make him that ideological as applies to many of these people even if they are wealthy. Though he could be a Made in Chelsea type Republican (excuse the reference, I don't know any equiv US shows).

Again, this is based off a real person:

Gender: Male
Age: 70
Race/Ethnicity: White, Irish
Religion: Goes to a Catholic Church, is not a Catholic
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Relationship Status: Married
Education: Highly skilled manual worker training qualifications
Current Location: Nassau Co., NY
Hometown: Nassau Co., NY
Interests: Transportation, old buildings, American heritage, travel, baseball.
Other: Despite his manual worker job he eventually earned enough to go travelling round the world. His wife is Asian.

Fairly standard Long Island Republican who resents taxes, illegal immigrants, and crime while being strongly patriotic. Indifferent on a few social issues such as abortion and moderate on unions as well as some social insurance programs like Social Security or Medicare due to his blue-collar background. Somewhat prejudiced against blacks, Latinos, and especially Muslims due to 9/11. Was born to a family of working-class Irish-American Democrats but has generally voted Republican for national elections for most of his life with a Perot vote in 1992 being a notable exception. He sometimes votes for Democrats at the state and local levels such as Chuck Schumer or Mario Cuomo. Was a strong Trump supporter from the primaries onwards though he doesn't subscribe to election fraud conspiracy theories. Has met Peter King several times and even contributed money to NORAID during the 1980s.

Fyi, I think you were right for the stereotype, but the person I know who fits this description is a dyed-in-the-wool Democrat.

SKIP - see the post above mine.

First one: Both Dems. Home ownership isn't a deal-breaker, especially if it's mortgage related.
Second one: Proper Republican, could be any factions but I'd be surprised if they were a Dem on demographics alone.
Third one: Black suggests Dem. Less likely to be a Dem than most other blacks but it's a safe bet.
Fourth and fifth one: Both likely Dems.

Race: White
Gender: Female
Household Income: 48k
Location: Forest Gate, Oregon
Age: 21
Married: No, never been in a relationship but a serial dater
Children: No
Education/Occupation: Current student at a minor university, got a scholarship. Is a sorority leader.
Religion: Evangelical Christian of the Hillsong kind, dad is a pastor. Was baptised in the family church and attends every week, goes to festivals. Most friends aren't Christian and she hasn't evangelised to them.

I'm sorry. Do you have some hypothetical people for me to do to make it up?

Don't worry.

I'll post the next person and the thread can resume as normal.

Gender: Female
Race: White Hispanic
Age: 19
Hometown: Big Spring, TX
Income: 31k
Religion: Goes to the local Catholic church with her family, but her family treat it more as a social occasion.
Occupation: College health sciences fresher at UCLA. Studying after a private scheme to help rural Texans get to college gave her a bursary.
Relationship: Been seeing an African-American college football player from Oakland, CA in the year above her for a month, who has no interest in politics. Might be more than friends, they're working it out.
Family: Parents are both ranchers, though they have had other jobs in Big Spring. They've known eachother since high school and both come from Big Spring. They are Republicans as are all her family and friends who have a preference, but only vote in Presidential Elections.
Interests: Sports (participating), current affairs, socialising.
Other: Has never left the US and only left ever Texas to see family in Lamar, CO. LA is the first time she's been to CA and the second time she's been to 'the big city', the other big city being San Antonio. Has never used public transit and her family did not have cable television, though she does know a bit about pop culture and has social media accounts.
