Definitely left-leaning based off of her biography, but has small "c" conservative instincts and leanings. Left-wing across the board on economic and foreign policy issues as well as most social issues with the exception of abortion which is she personally pro-life on and ambivalent in terms of public policy. Strongly antiwar, environmentalist, and critical of consumer capitalism as well as urbanization. Besides a few politicians she personally likes (such as Bernie Sanders), she tends to see most politicians of either party as self-serving and corrupt making her generally uninterested in day to day politics as opposed to political philosophy.
