Real-life Eddie Huang seems very much like a “defund the police” type to me, although I’m not sure how he feels about a wealth tax. IIRC his father owned and operated a steakhouse in the Orlando area when he was a teenager.

Quite a fun one and probably one of the handful of people who still speaks in a Boston Brahmin dialect. Given his dislike of Vatican II (despite being Unitarian) and sympathetic to reviving the Watch and Ward Society, I would guess he is a traditionalist conservative and sort of the American version of British philosopher Roger Scruton strongly critical of modern tendencies towards postmodernism, permissiveness, relativism, and trashy pop culture. Economically, he dislikes both socialism and capitalism preferring some kind of distributism. Probably voted for Trump out of opposition to the cultural left. Actually, his Freudian background makes him very similar to American social critic and historian Christopher Lasch who also espoused producerist populism late in his life.
