I have a hard time imagining that anyone fascinated by Zoroastrianism would be that right-leaning.

A lot of more occultic/non-Christian far-righters are sympathetic to Zoroastrianism because they see it as an example of native Indo-European spirituality. Probably helps that Nietzsche titled his book Thus Spoke Zarathustra.
