1. What are your priorities in terms of a new budget as it comes out, if you have any in particular?

2. What are your thoughts on the basic income bill as is? do you think there are any more substantial improvements to make?

3. Do you feel as if the number of regions should be reduced, and if so, do you have a specific plan to do so?

3. Do you feel as if the number of regions should be reduced, and if so, do you have a specific plan to do so?

1. I think our main priority in the new budget will be to try to stimulate job growth, especially in the Pacific. The best way to do this would be in up the transportation spending in the region. An overhaul of the transportation infrastructure, such as replacing bridges and roads, could put lots of people to work.

2. In general I support the current framework that is being developed for the Basic Income Guarantee. I am a bit apprehensive about requiring that participants cannot accept Food Stamps, WIC, SNAP, Section 8 Housing, or Public Housing. I understand why this is probably needed, but I am afraid that this could harm those programs.

3. Personally feel like the regions should be reduced down to 3. In order to due this I think we would need to have an independent or bipartisan commission that would be in charge of setting up the new regions so they are fair overall and they all are close in population. Also I think it would be a god idea of have this commission meet at a regularly designated time (yearly, bi-yearly, every quarter) to adjust the regions if need be to make sure that their populations are close to even. This would help prevent some of the inactivity issues.

Recently there have been a couple failed attempts to get education reform through the senate.  I have been a critic of such attempts for not thinking outside the box enough or for being too small/narrowly applied for the desired outcome.

What, if any, ideas do you have for education in Atlasia?  What role should the federal government play?  Do you think added investment should push innovation or should it focus more on bringing underperforming groups up to speed?  Or can we do both?
