UK vs. Italy

UK Westminster:

Italy Montecitorio:

Neither is that flash, but I vote for the UK.

Neither are that impressive on the outside but I'll go with Italy.

Italy also wins, by far, when it comes to the inside design.

The Palace of Westminster, the very definition of a classic.

Can I nominate the Viennese parliament and the E.U. Parliament building in Brussels?  Not sure if the last one will count though.

I won't post the pics, just links to them:

Vienna, Austria

Brussels, Belgium (E.U.)

They couldn't be more opposite in style.

Match 4: Russia vs. France

Russia (The Kremlin):

I know it's kinda not right, but it had to be the Kremlin, really; the other building is shizenhousen)

France:

Both as historic as hell, which often affects my vote, so based purely on looks I vote Russia in a close contest.

I really like both, but the Kremlin is more interesting. Russia.

It's not the Duma building, but the Kremlin is impressive and has my vote.

The Israeli Knesset Building in Jerusalem, including the famous Menorah.

The Japanese Imperial Diet in Tokyo. Most effective with low carbs and plenty of exercise.

As I said, I know it isn't the Duma, but it's impossible to overlook.

Russia wins.
