Happy Fourth!

I think we as a community went over this before, but probably-drunkposting Clarence is the best.

Wooooo! I'm excited for this year. I've done the same (great) things for years up until now, but it's time for a revamp...mostly because I'm far too lazy to venture all the way back up to North Jersey just for the day. I plan to 1) learn some Portuguese, 2) drink LOADS of Bud on South Street, 3) watch fireworks blazed off my ass, 4) listen to obnoxious music, and 5) eat all sorts of American goodness all day including burgers, Jersey corn, potato salad, etc. Although I bought ground turkey instead of beef, so my American meal will be severely vaginal...

Ah. A day off for me to do whatever the hell I want, have an excuse to fool around with explosives, and openly indulge in genres of music I'm quite fond of without people giving me odd looks. Cheers to another birthday for the republic, and if anyone cares to remind me of when those of others are going to take place I'll gladly celebrate those, as well! Merry w00t and such for holidays in general!

All the better. Now I will celebrate it on both the 2nd and 4th! There is no greater honor I could bestow on the memory of the declaration than to eat a box of chocolate-glazed doughnuts with red, white, and blue sprinkles. Maybe it is not too late for me to retroactively eat those I should have on Monday. Mmm.

I like the part where people set off fireworks in the middle of the night and prevent others from sleeping.

1-4am: "YEAH, 'MERICA! WOOO!"

I celebrated it with Michael and his American friends late last night, while watching 1776. It was pretty fun.

1776.  Awesome.

The weather in the Philadelphia right now area sort of mirrors the heat I imagine the delegates were dealing with at the time.

In other news, St. Petersburg right now is experiencing cooler temperatures than average. Should be a great 4th of July here at least.
