48 hours have lapsed, so at least Texasgurl missed her spot, maybe BRTD loses his too.  It's either BRTD or MHS now,  whichever.

Dang it. This seemed so much fun.

Any possible way I can pick from the leftovers?

I'm all for letting you pick after Josh and make up your missed picks at the end.  Still some good senators out there.

Same, he can begin picking right after Josh this round, and he'll start from there. At the end, he can pick from the leftovers, like those who missed picks.

By the way, are those of us who missed picks going to be able to add a few at the end and make a full team, or are we stuck at a disadvantage?

Does anyone still care about this?  We've had to skip quite a few people so far.

I'm all for sending a PM to whoever follows you as a reminder.

Go ahead; I still care and have been waiting quite a while to pick. Tongue

I'd say to go back to the first person missed and start with that person.

The forum has been up and down more than Opebo's pants in  . . . sorry, too gross an image  to finish.

Anyway, when the forum starts jerking our chains like that it is going to be easy for people to miss picks.

I would give the following people 24 hours from now to make a pick from whoever is still available:

5. Oklahoma Dust Bowlers, TexasGurl
6. Minnesota Marxists, BRTD
7. Washington Interns, MHS2002
8. The Gay Nightmare, Hughento
9. Pittsburgh Progressives, True Democrat
10. NC Liberals, Nclib
11. People's Republic of Cambridge, Blerpiez
12. DC Dove-Chicken Hawks, Joe Republic

After those 24 hours are up I would resume the rest of the round as normal.

Any objections?

Sounds good to me.  I know I'm last on that list, but I pick Rep. John Carter (R-TX).

Have you already PMed the others on that list?  If not, I will.

You can go ahead.  We're an easy going lot.  I was going to wait a while, but I need to run for a while, possibly the rest of the evening.

I have the slight problem of knowing the names of about 10 members of the US House of Reps. Therefore, I appoint Al, when he makes his final choice, to advise me on a good pick, I'm ed without it Smiley
