Any info on third parties? Will Ralph Nader the slime run again? Who will the Libertarians run? Maybe we could see another Perot or Wallace...

No clue who the Libertarians will run. Doubt we'll run Badnarik again - a number are pissed at his involvement in the whole recount in Ohio. I'm hoping we'll run someone with some name recognition or some money or something.

I laughed at that at first, but now I'm not sure that would be a bad idea.

Anyone think Ron Paul will run again for the Libertarians for President, whether in 2008 or sometime after that?

Ventura is definitely considering a run in 2008 but it is too early to tell.

I still think a liberal Republican (Guiliani, Pitaki, or Arnold (if the Constitution is Amended)) or a something like Roemer winning the DNC Chair will help the Constitution or Green Parties. If the Value Voters don't get the results they voted for, they will leave the Republican Party as well. 3 years is plenty of time for the two major parties to alienate their base. And I hope it happens.

Do you think he would get enough votes to hurt the Republicans?

Teller talks about as much as your typical VP did pre-GHWB.

He could be a spoiler for either party, he is right on National Defense but a true Libertarian socially.

A Libertarian ticket of Norman Schwarzkopf /Clint Eastwood or vice versa would rack up the votes for sure.

I agree.  What the hell would happen if they actually won?

I would vote for Swarzkopf. He's basically a Libertarian who believes in strong national defense and is against isolationism, the two main problems I have with the Libertarian party. He would have my vote for sure. Dirty Harry and Stormin' Norman in the White House, now that would be intresting.

There might be a nuclear war with North Korea if Stormin' Norman was a little too trigger happy. Then again Vice President Eastwood could probabaly take out all of the North Korean millitary by himself with the usage of a six shooter. :-)

Highly unlikely (pretty much impossible), but if Rudy somehoiw gets the nomination for the GOP, Moore runs as a third party
