The Bull Moose Party would be a split between the moderate GOP and the Tories. There Tories would have eventually regained the WH, but they, the Whigs or Bull Mooses would be a factor well into even today's politics.

Let me spell it out Whigs=moderate wing of the GOP party and Tories the Traditional or Conservative wing of the GOP party. Traditional wing Nixon, Goldwater and Traft. Moderate wing Teddy Roosevelt, Charles E Hughs and Eisenhower, the Bull Mooses.

And it also says on Wikipedia that the Bull Mooses almost put Hughes as their nominee in 1916 but failed. The moderate GOP,were imputed on the SCrt and were strong advocates in the likes of Harlen Fisk Stone, in overturning segregation and implimentation of New Deal laws.
