I remember talking with a chubby but still cute blonde girl at the show on Friday about how it was a birthday show and that she had just turned 30 a few weeks ago, but that she didn't feel any different or see it as a big deal. Not surprising for a girl getting drunk in a Municipal Waste shirt that was the same shirt she wore at the show Wednesday (why I recognized her) and was dancing like crazy especially with the Replacements cover at the end I'm not surprised. Also one of the guys in the bands whose birthday was being celebrated was turning 32.

For some reason the toughest birthday for me was 23. Maybe because that's the age you'd be done with college if you graduated in 4 years?

I turned 30 on April 29.  I definitely feel older, but not too bad.  My mindset is one in his late 30s or early 40s.
