or, more accurately, the need to eat: I enjoy eating, but the process of interrupting my day in order to purchase or prepare food, is tedious.

Nah, I think it's one of the more stress-relieving parts of the day. Now, if I have to stand in line and wait to order, that's annoying.

No, I look forward to eating because I enjoy it. Certainly certain things surrounding it can be annoying, but I don't mind needing to eat. Might be convenient to not have to, but such is the universe we live in.

To be fair Masterchef Australia isn't just a cooking show.

You think eating and/or ordering food is more tedious than toils?  Perhaps you need some sort of psychiatric help.

For me it is the portion of the day when I am not eating, sleeping, or *** which is tedious: namely toils.

Yes I do find the mandatory need to eat to be annoying.

I like eating but 2-3 times a day? Too much effort and time Tongue

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the eating.

This definitely seems seems to correlate with, lets say 'other personality traits'.  You and Tweed both leave a good deal to be desired in terms of salubrious companionship, while the hedonist is typically a treat to be with.

In all seriousness, if you are not enjoying eating, there's some pretty deep dissonance in your brainwash.  Growing up on the farm we had many creatures over the years, from livestock to pets, from half-Bison to little kitty-cats, and the number one criteria of health, vitality, and a bright future for the beast was - does he eat with gusto?

Nah. I'm generally pretty happy and enjoy my life. And while I'm probably biased I never had any complaints about being bad company either.

Proper hedonists aren't that much fun, because they're too narcissistic to care about you having fun.

When I say I don't enjoy eating I don't mean in the sense that food doesn't appeal to me or taste anything. I enjoy a good meal and I get hungry. I just don't view it as an important part of life the way some people do.

Yes. I go to the gym and had to build up weight. As I'm still doing that it means eating lots of small meals throughout the day. It sucks. You have to spend more time preparing food than working out.
