Too bad Vadic is pronounced "-ick" in both the English and German version.

I would have preferred the Balkan-style "Va-dit(s)ch" pronounciation. Maybe it makes sense in English, but for German the Balkan-version would be better.



Also, they shouldn't have translated "The Shryke" to "Würger" ... just left it as "The Shryke" instead.

Other than that, I like the fact that Seven is a fan of Mozart apparently and that Prof. Moriarty will soon make a comeback:



Also, I agree with others who have already said that the show is still too dark. It reminds me of the chaotic action-ridden "Discovery", which was a total disaster of a show. Scene-wise, season 3 is pretty good so far though. A little annoying that the changelings mention of "Solids" in German (from DS9) has now been translated to "Monoforme" or something. They should have sticked with "Solids" as translation, because "Monoforme" just sounds weird in this connex and DS9 lovers.

Picard's last episode, "No Win Scenario", currently has a IMDb rating of 9.2.

This would make it the best Picard episode so far, and the fifth-, sixth-, or seventh-best Star Trek episode ever. Maybe a tad overrated me thinks.

But it made me look (again ?) what the ten best or so Star Trek episodes are, according to individual IMDb ratings.

The last episode was pretty good, but I would rank it 4th or 5th.

The intro of each new "ST: Picard" episode is confusing to me, because it says "Previously on:"

Shouldn't it say "Previously on ST: Picard..." ?

"Previously on..." in German means "Bisher bei..."

But that's an incomplete sentence.

Or is it normal these days to just write "Previously on..." ?

Given the fact that Lore appeared in the trailer before Season 3 started, what are the chances he's behind the Shapeshifters (or at least allied with them)?

Or could Jack Crusher even be Lore, without he himself knowing? Reminds me of that TNG episode in which this Ferengi wanted to punish Picard because he played a role in the death of his son. In fact, Jack Crusher secretly being Lore would make sense because when he killed the 4 shapeshifters in the last episode he kinda "activated" himself like an android, or like Sochi in the 1st episode of Season 1 who killed her Romulan attackers.

Europe: Did you also notice how Jack Crusher sometimes gets referred to "Jake" Crusher in the German version? Or is it just me?

Can't tell, I watch the show in English.

I always watch it in English first, then German. And I do the same with "The Mandalorian".

The last epidose ("The Bounty") was pretty good, even better in German because my English is not so good.

The episode had a few new charcaters and also old friends and nostalgia. Family frictions were solved, but I'm still not sure if the German dub team made an error again or not: The episode title in English, as I've said, is "The Bounty" and they translated it to "Die Bounty". Obviously, it could refer to the ship in that episode but also to the situation at the very end of the episode and the 2 people being held hostage as "bounty" for JC.

The soon-to-be-cult phrase

"Oh, you fu**ing solids."

was once again translated to German as "Ihr verdammten Monoformen."

... when during DS9, even in German they were using "Solids". It just doesn't seem right to use "Monoforme" now as translation.

I really expected Jack Crusher to be a secret Changling being lured home, not the Voice/Vox of the Borg (Queen) and also her child - together with Picard (Locutus).

But it makes sense, with Picard hearing the Borg Collective even after being severed from the Collective.

The secret assimilation and overpowering process of the Fleet was intense, but could have been made better: where are the newly assimilated Borg's defense shields? Where the cybernetic implants that should be visible soon after assimilation already? Why were they trying to eliminate the non-assimilated, like Lore's Borg, and not trying to assimilate them like the actual Borg?

Also, what's up with the discrepancy between Hippie-Borg Agnes in Season 2's finale and the more traditional Borg now? Did she lose the intra-Borg civil war? I hope this gets solved in the final episode.

Seeing the old Enterprise-D again and the crew together on the bridge was heartwarming, the death of Shaw was unnecessary (I started to like him). Killed by the Borg, after surviving Wolf 359.

Plus: will Picard and Co. get Geordi's daughters back from the Borg - and "unscathed"?

We'll see. Matalas said that the final episode will last 1 hour. Janeway and Tuvok could also be in that last episode.

The Season finale was beautifully made and a great end to TNG and Seven of Nine.
