I was wondering when they'd put out the NM President numbers.

I was honestly expecting something like 49-40 Obama, but this is really good.

Hopefully Romney doesn't waste any of his money here. He doesn't need it to win and it pretty much has no chance of flipping (unless he puts Rubio or Martinez on the ticket... but Martinez looks a lot less likely than she once did).

I think Romney's decision of whether to contest the state will play an important role on the senate race. Hard to see Wilson winning if Mittens loses by such huge margins.

It's interesting how the historical 20th century bellwethers diverged. Delaware and New Mexico are safe Obama while Romney will do better in Missouri than nationwide.

In terms of actual margins, New Mexico has probably been the best bellwether until Obama ran.
