However you want to define it. To Americans: Don't think of this in comparison to pro-American but rather if you generally support European unity, integration, standardization, the EU itself, etc.?

I guess I would usually say no.

I'm very pro-European in the sense that I like freedom of movement, I like other European countries and meeting other Europeans. Then again, I don't think of this as exclusively European. I like meeting Americans and Asians and so on as well.

If there is anything that is European, I think it's our diversity. And that's what the pro-European movement and the EU strives to undermine.

I am strongly pro-European and opposed to the current, anarchical global order. Provided that the member states can eventually agree on a constitution which satisfies them, I would very much like to see gradual integration and harmonization on all fronts culminate in the foundation of a single, unified European state. I'd also approve of similar efforts occurring in other parts of the world. I do not consider regional, continental, or globalised government incompatible with the cultural diversity of or retention of partial autonomy by sub-administrative districts, provinces, republics, or such.

Absolutely.  I support, in as many cases as possible, the subordination of the outdated nation-state concept to international federations and the end of ridiculous notions of national sovereignty.

As in the EU? Er... not exactly because of what it is in practice. Of course, saying that, people who define themselves as 'Eurosceptic' (or whatever) tend to be less than entirely...

I see the benefits of a lot of the EU practices, but I think the increased connectivity when all states weren't clearly ready has been a tremendous error.

Agreed, though probably for different reasons on the second one.

If I were European, I'd probably be anti-EU. I like (in theory) regional sovereignty.

Also, America would be much better if we adopted European brews instead of the stale pissass that we market endlessly in this country that meth addicted college football players and their venereal diseased girlfriends get wasted off of.  Or the idiot meth addicted Scotch-Irish f****t rednecks who rip through Keystone Light 18 packs or whatever the sh*t they sell those cold cans of piss in like it's El Dorado gold or something.

Perhaps I should stop before I end up on mod review again.

I like Europe and Europeans, or at least the northwestern corner of it.  It's where "my people" came from.  When I play 4X games, I almost always play as Germany, England or Rome.  If I had to live in a place that didn't speak English, Germany, France and the Nordic countries would top the list.  Sure, I think the place is stupid about some things, but that's true of everywhere.

I really don't care about the EU one way or the other.

I'm pro-European in the sense that I think Europe is overall a good continent and it is a privilege to live in such a wealthy a corner of the world, but I am definitely against concepts such as the European Union or more extreme ideas like a federal European state.

The EU is a lot of bad things, Socialist is however most certainly not one of them. If there is one thing the European Union has actually been good for it's force free market capitalism and competition. We are even far ahead of certain places in America on stuff like right to work since EU legislation and court precedent enforce right to work in all the 27. (To the horror of Swedish unions, and the delight of myself)

The real horror being that a weird bit of US politspeak like 'right to work' could be used in an unironic way by a non-American.

It's grotesquely unfortunate that at the moment of its greatest crisis the EU is run by a bunch of unimaginative reactionary dunderheads.

But whatever the problems of the EU, it is better than there being no Union.

If you belong to a small ethnic group controlling a nation state is the only real effective way to protect your culture and language. So national sovereignty is a highly usefull tool to prevent global standardization.
