Indeed.  Could be an asshat kid that didn't get the car keys when he wanted them, to an asshat dad that constantly had druggies coming and going at all hours of the day and night and was neglectful to his kids.

No, I would probably try and help out his drug business to make it more successful at the expense of the for-profit prisons that have purchased more authoritarian government policy.

Yeah, probably - the idea of my dad growing pot is so horrendously embarassing that I'd take any reasonable action to stop him.

Possibly. It would probably depend a lot on what else was going on that was an outgrowth of that pot production. If it was significantly impacting my life or someone else in the family, then yeah.

Funnily enough I was present once when my father burned a small field of marijuana.  Very odd set of circumstances, but no one was hurt no were any police involved.

Yeah, very sad, in retrospect, though I knew nothing then.  Just burned it all up right there in the field.

That kid has no loyalty to la familia.

In all seriousness, my parents were/are the people to stand by the law, do what's right, follow the rules, etc. I can't imagine my church organist Dad deciding to grow & sell pot. I do now a guy whose dad does grow pot, but that's medical marijuana.

There is something oddly fascist about voluntarily surrendering your own flesh and blood to the authorities in the interest of complying with ignorant state/federal policy. People should avoid befriending this sort of individual.
