Yeah Republicans should run an anti-Michelle Obama campaign. Let me know how that works out for you guys.
What on earth got into Ernest to put up this thread is what I'm wondering.
I wanted something other than the deluge of hyper-partisan primary-related threads with posters mindlessly battling over minutiae the average voter is unlikely to ever worry about.
I must admit, I had not anticipated it turning into what it has become.
Really?
You clearly missed how much the psycho right hates Michelle Obama for promoting healthier eating and exercise.
She's clearly a fascist...
It's simple if it's said by an Obama to the GOP base it equals 'socialism'... simple as that. Common sense need not apply here.
Did anyone argue that Laura Bush advocating parents to read to their kids and to spend time with them to read was lecturing parents on what to do? This is what First Ladies do.
Laura Bush wasn't a hypocrite because she watched TV or went to a movie instead of reading a book, nor is Michelle Obama for eating fast food once in a while.
This s*** has got to stop, both Laura and Michelle were talking about things that matter to them. That is the new job of First Ladies, to be an advocate - they have no power and if you don't like it... don't listen.
and for the record, shoving processed and salt and fat-laden food down your kid's throat and putting them in front of a TV or computer instead of encouraging them to be active... makes you a bad parent.
Sorry Ernest, this myopic crap was doing my head in.
On record... the wives matter a little, but they aren't an election winner.
