Representative Jim Nussle formed "Iowans for Nussle" on January 7, 2005, confirming the rumor he will run for Governor.

Bill Gluba will be the nominee again, and I doubt he will win. He is really a pathetic campaigner.

Now that it's open the Democrats will nominate a seriou8s candidate and not let a sacrificial lamb take over again. This is a Democratic-leaning district, there's no reason not to.

If he doesn't run again, who'd you think would get the Democratic nod?

Since Lt. Governor Sally Penderson has dropped out it will either go to Secretary of State Chet Culver or the only already announced Democrat State Representative Ed Fallon. Fallon is already campaigning state wide to become better knwon in Iowa, like Nussle is doing.
