Newt as the nominee would be a jolly fun time.

Romney because he is wealthy. Liberals want everybody to be equal; equally poor, that is.

Thank the Lord that Politico has bettered his ways and grasped his second chance. If he hadn't so spontaneously (and without any pressure from death points) apologised and promised to no longer troll, I'd have thought he actually believed all the crap he posts.

I think in their heart of hearts, the person they hate the most is Rick Santorum.

Santorum, because of his principles. They love his name oddly enough.

Right now? Newt, of course. After a long campaign they'd all be pretty hated but I think Paul would be particularly disliked given how far to the Right he is.

Depends on what kind of "liberal" they are. If social liberalism is what gets them off, then it's going to be Santorum. If it's a class issue, it's going to be Romney. I'm not really sure that Newt is particularly hated, he's just kind of a troll at this point, often amusing and sometimes just obnoxious.

Many of the liberals I know would hate a Santorum presidency the most, but say they hate Romney the most, which is probably due to the fact that he is an actual threat to Obama.

I get the impression many of them are sincere about personally disliking Romney, but yeah, in terms of politics, they're completely kidding themselves.  Especially if Romney is as much of a philosophical opportunist as they complain he is (and I think he nearly is), it's crazy talk.

I can't speak for all liberals, but as I base my thinking on things that exist in reality, my dislike trends towards which ever is most living in outer space that day.

The only liberals who hate Ron Paul the most are blog comments section moderators.
