I don't understand this enthusiasm for polling groups of states collectively. "Rust Belt States" have 0 electoral votes; the votes are state-by-state, and aggregated results don't give you a very clear picture of what's going on on the level that matters. Why not just poll individual states less frequently, if cost is an issue?
