The dream that woke me up last night...by the jmfcst

True story...

Last night I had a dream I was walking in a parking lot with my family and some punks in a car chucked a bottle at my head that barely missed but grazed my hair, and it made me extremely angry…and they shouted, “Yeah, I was aiming at you!”  And I looked over, and they didn’t like the fact I looked over, and they got out of their car and started to walk over.  So, I told my family to relax, grabbed my .45 out of the car, walked over to confront them and shot all four of them dead, and the girls that were with them were screaming, “Why did you do THAT!  Why?!”.

Then I stood there, still extremely angry yet frustrated at what happened and frustrated that they would try to jack with me and frustrated that my life would now be interrupted with having to answer questions from police.

I woke up pissed off and disturbed.

dreams about not being able to avoid physical fights are pretty common for me...and I always find them extremely frustrating.  probably stems from the neighborhood I grew up in.  I always hated fighting.

yes, in my car, which is always locked, and there isn't a round cambered, though it does have a loaded clip in it with a extra loaded clip nearby.

and, from these dreams, you can see I don't relish the thought of having to use it.

I have violent dreams sometimes too.  Though they usually involves knives, and always end with me and my attacker battered and bloody and no clear "winner".

I love falling dreams, but I havent had one in years and years...though I often dream of flying in a airplane and making takeoffs and landings with trees all around the landing strip.

I favorite dreams are dreams of airshows over my childhood home (even though that never happened in real life), and one of the planes crashes in my yard - total trip!

The most disconcerting ones for me are the dream within a dream dreams.  You know the ones where you wake up but realize that you are still sleeping and then fear you may never wake up. I had that decades before that Inception bullocks.

I suppose we can hope that you would, in this hypothetical circumstance, suffer a somewhat greater inconvenience than 'having to answer questions from police'.  But I also suppose it is too much to hope for, as the US justice system is clearly for sale.  

Perhaps if by some stroke of luck your intended victims were african american drug dealers, or hispanics, they might shoot you first.

But yes, the 'real meaning' of the dream is dick size anxiety, which you probably needn't have, and only have because of your discomforts in the closet and beyond that the constraints of monogamy and your chosen lifestyle generally.

Holy sh*t man, that sounds so bad ass.

I wish guns were like that in real life because concealment is a bitch.  Especially when you're fleeing the scene after having dispatched of a youth.

Had a dream I played for an NBA team with some if my team mates from when I was on JV. Our uniforms were green & our opponents' were too & I didn't have a clue what was going on. Sorry, no guns.
