As if Republicans don't complain about every PPP poll or any poll that shows Obama leading.

At the end of the day, Santorum is a poor fit for Northern Virginia and would not win the state, he's way too much of a social conservative for those suburbs. Romney not fairing much better doesn't say too much for his chances either. A lot of people voted in 2008 that hadn't voted before, unless Republicans can stop them from voting, they are out of luck here.

I'm not quite sure why liberals are so convinced Virginia is the new Connecticut.  All indications are otherwise.

1. Voter type is 'registered', not 'likely'.
2. Regardless of who's in the lead, I'm reluctant to take polls very seriously when they come from some organization or college no one's ever heard of before.  I don't even know this pollster's track record.
