Predictable result: the more people find out about Romney, the less they like him. He's a good candidate on paper, but a bad one in practice.

I might actually start rooting for Romney now.  I woke up this morning and realized how much I truly despise Rick Santorum.  Granted, both of them will mark the first time in history I have had no respect for a major Presidential nominee.  On election night, Politico's tears would be so much sweeter than Phil's grumpy routine.

The swing states are not Ohio, Florida, Colorado, and Virginia. The swing states are Arizona, Arkansas, South Dakota, and Georgia.

I think Mitt Romney's appeal to independents in the general election was like Rick Perry's conservative appeal for the GOP nomination. Early with little info he appeared great, but as people see him and learn more about it they don't like him.

Less is more with Mitt.  It's likely to get worse.  I wouldn't be surprised if Santorum did better in the general election.

This is why the media's narrative on Mitt's electability and his appeal to independents was hilarious. The man is a poor candidate and doesn't have much appeal. He better pray the economy goes under or he is going to lose much like Dole did in 1996.

About as funny as their buildup of Huntsman.

They're just choosing the Republicans they would consider voting for.
