Hardly any worse than believing that Washington was in play. Bush only did a point better in Virginia than Kerry did in Washington.

The GOP Convention bounce put Bush within 5 points of NY and IL, so at one point and time people thought of it...imagine if Bush had won the debates...LANDSLIDE I say...
