With this poll Obama should carry NV, CO, OH and NH.

Claim: Obama should win NV, CO, OH and NH
Evidence: Obama +10 in outlier NH poll

Um. Can we get a second opinion?

I am sure that we will see more polls for New Hampshire -- more because it went for Dubya once.  This is the first poll in which political life in New Hampshire is something other than unrelieved "Barack Obama is horrible!" rhetoric. The Granite State/WMUR poll is fairly reliable for catching the moment.

The corroborating evidence is in other states. Maybe Obama up by 7 in Ohio over Romney is also over the top, but we see strong indications that overall, matchups are beginning to look much like they were on Election Day 2008. Can anyone say that will hold? No.

The Republican field is uncharacteristically weak. But could it also be that we have an above-average President who doesn't broadcast how wonderful he is? He is running on his record.

There's no evidence to suggest it's an outlier yet.

will Massachusetts be a swing state with romney being a former governor from there

No, he was trailing by quite a bit in all the state polls.

Romney hasn't been popular in Massachusetts since 2004.

An interesting thing I would want to know is what the election might look like against Romney if the reported DoL U values fall below 8.0% by November.
