We've had a thread like this before, but this was prior to the 2004 election, so with all the uncertainty over a Kerry presidency or a second Bush term gone, who comes after GWB? IMHO:

2009 – 2013   Evan Bayh (DEM/Indiana) Vice-President: Bill Richardson
2013 – 2021   Arnold Schwarzenegger (REP/California)* Tommy Franks
2021 – 2029   Barack Obama (DEM, Illinois) Stephanie Herseth
2029 – 2033   George P. Bush (REP, Florida) Htmldon
2033 – 2041   Eric Nyman (DEM, Michigan) Ilikeverin
2041 – 2049   Chris Soult (REP, Pennsylvania) Paul Brunsel
2049 – 2057   Paul Brunsel (REP, Iowa) Mike Naso

(*This is of course assuming that the Orrin Hatch amendment goes through and Arnie is consequently allowed to run for President. Heck, in any case, it's just a bit of fun.)

You really think Republicans are going to win it again in 2008?  I think they have the advantage but I think with the right candidate we can win in 2008.

2032 seems about right to me. I'll turn 54 that year, so that would be about the right time for me to run for President.

Yes, with the right candidate. It's becoming increasingly unlikely that liberal Democrats can win the presidency

No, the AFDNC chair will kill his Senate replacement in 2034, allowing him to run for Senate, (the job of VP was reduced after Cheney's autobio came out in 2010). Then a the Dem leader in Congress from WV will be picked.

Aren't two domestically-incompetent Bush presidents enough?
