In the part Wisconsin has polled well for Republicans early on before swinging back to the Dems toward the end of the campaign.  The fact that he's starting up by 5-10 pts is good news for Obama.  Don't think he has to worry about the Upper Midwest (MI, WI, MN, IA) all that much.

Women are of course more likely to be members of certain professions that Walker policies are likely to hurt -- teaching, nursing, social work...

I understand that there will be some big demonstrations in Wisconsin that won't look good for Governor Walker.
