Should South Jersey split from North Jersey?

MAS117:
Haha the capital would be Mt. Holly.

Redefeatbush04:
No but if they do this is what the two sections should be composed of:

New New Jersey:
Sussex, Passaic, Bergen, Hudson, Essex, Richmond (NY), Union, Hunterton, Somerset, Morris, Warren, Mercer, Middlesex

New Delaware:

Monmouth, Burlington, Ocean, Camden, Gloucester, Atlantic, Salem, Cumberland, Cape May, the former state of Delaware

If you're going to divide NJ shouldn't metro Philly be put together with downstate NJ?

For example:

Delaware (pop 8.9 M):
NJ: Hunterton, Warren, Mercer, Monmouth, Burlington, Ocean, Camden, Gloucester, Atlantic, Salem, Cumberland, Cape May
    DE: New Castle
    MD: Cecil
PA: Delaware, Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, Northhampton, Lehigh, Berks

And then two states for Metro NYC:

Hudson (10.2 M):
NJ: Passaic, Bergen, Hudson, Essex, Union, Morris, Somerset, Middlesex
NY: Richmond, Manhattan, Bronx, Rockland, Westchester
    CT: Fairfield

Long Island (7.4 M):
    NY: Kings, Queens, Nassau, Suffolk

Sussex Co, NJ goes with the central Hudson valley (north of Westchester through the Catskills and Berkshires to metro Albany)

But it does solve the SE PA vs Appalachian PA issue that I read about on so many other threads here.
