I support this bill and call on all my Senators to vote yea on this bill. With a current war on terrorism going on and an inherent lack of troops in Iraq and Afghanistan I think it is of paramount importance to expand our armed forces and equip them for today's modern battles. We need an army that is trained to handle terrorism and urban warfare, not a Soviet tank battle in Eastern Germany. I thank both Secretary Ford and Senator Gabu for bringing this bill up.
