Seems like a good one for the NDP to attack from the left with.

Wallin went nuclear on LeBreton and Stewart-Olsen. LeBreton responded in kind, all but calling Wallin a delusional liar.

New Nanos out: 37/29/23/5. That's +4 for the Grits since August, -1 for the Tories and -2 for the NDP. Caution, the poll was conducted before the Senate news.

Voters seem to see Trudeau, not Mulcair, as the anti-Harper. Of course this is just a snapshot in time, but one consistent finding is that Trudeau's weaknesses are priced in - Harper preferred on judgment, economy, etc. yet a Grit lead. So both war rooms will need to work harder than last time.

Trudeau refuses to criticize Harper in DC, enthusiastically pitched Keystone to CAP.

20 years ago today, our previous political universe vaporized. Thankfully. Tongue

Unsurprisingly, MHF has permanently retired from politics.

Bumping to add some news on the Die in dignity law.

Kind of surprised none of the parties are voting against it. I figured CAQ would have a few socons.

Are there really any "socon" parts of Quebec? There are xenophobic parts of Quebec, and there are free market types in the Beauce, but socons?

Speaking of which, what party is more socially conservative CAQ or PLQ? My money is on the PLQ.

A few PLQ MNAs (five were named but there could be more) will vote against the Die in dignity law when it's time to vote on the principle of the law. So no big unanimity.

Question is whether Horwath flinches on transit taxes next spring. If yes, then the legislature runs its full term.

So Den Tandt thinks centre-right swingers could return Grit based on energy policy. I rather think not.

Calandra sketch, Hudak on subways. As for why Horwath props up Wynne: she gets her cake and eats it too, at least for now.

ONDP MPP Paul Miller has to sit in the back because of excessive heckling. Allegedly Horwath told him to "shut up" and he responded by saying "What'll you do, kick me out of caucus." Next *best* thing.

Before tackling Toronto, OPCs, how about fixing your leaders toxic personal numbers?

On the adoption in principle of the law, 25 PLQ and 1 CAQ MNAs voted against but it passed 84-26. Now it goes to detailed study.

I'd believe these get translated into legislation if seen, not before.

Marois says the health tax is good, essentially daring Legault to pull the trigger next spring. My bet is that he folds.

Toronto police have the Ford crack video, they've rearrested Lisi. Blair said it will be submitted as evidence in court.

Blair: Nothing in the video alone that would warrant charges.

BC Southern Interior NDP MP Alex Atamamenko will retire in 2015. That's the first opposition MP to announce their retirement.
