We might've lost South Carolina...MS and AL would've gone unpledged...as I said, a terrible year for the GOP looms, particularly in congressional races.

Yeah, I don't see why you think he'd do worse than Goldwater; Graham is and was an enormously popular figure.  However, he's also a registered Democrat.
