(Not necessarily in this order.)

Honorable mention tier (would be guilty pleasures in some cases, but I have no shame):

Ska: The Specials, Fishbone,  Prince Buster, The Papers, The Supervillains, The Skeletones, The Wailers, The Toasters, Street Light Manifesto, Derrick Harriott, Sublime.. And probably a bunch of other so so 90s bands like Bosstones or Less Than Jake or something when I’m drunk (redundant).

More later, this is just more recent stuff I've gotten into. If I didn't throw in Mingus or some other artists later that would be criminal.

Dancing with Myself:
Out of the Bands on the list I say The Rolling Stones are my Favorite.

But my Favorite band/singer of all time is Iggy Pop and The Stooges.  I wish Iggy would get more airtime on the radio, his song's are awesome.

My other nine favorite bands/singers:

-Alabama
-Billy Idol
-Meat Loaf
-Bob Seger
-The Doors
-Garth Brooks
-Alice Cooper
-Prince
-Aerosmith

The world will shine with light in our nightmare:
Glad to see Alabama getting some recognition here. :)  I always thought it was a rather unappreciated band.

dead0man:
The Who (not just "who") are the best band of the options.
