It's lovely Teddy.  I can't imagine why anyone would vote against me when I have such a nice campaign jingle Cheesy

Some of us voted before the jingle.

My less than "right-wing" platform didn't help get your vote obviously Wink

Plus I was personally contacted by one of your opponents and the extra effort won me over. No offense or anything.

One of my minions didn't contact you?  Damn regional chairs Tongue

I'd like to make clear that I indeed contacted all Mideast RPPers, maybe to the extent that they're all going to block my PMs from now on because they don't like my spam. But they did get a PM from me as "regional chair". Wink

CIN-CIN-CIN CINATUS!
THE ONE FOR THE SENATE!
HE HAS PASSED THE TEST!
HE IS BETTER THAN THE REST!

WHO ELSE CAN REPRESENT US?
WHO WILL STAND UP FOR US?
HE'S ON THE CUSP!
CIN-CIN-CIN-CINATUS!
HE JUST IS THE BEST!

Jeez, where were you when I needed a speech writer.  I could have used some appealing slogans and a nice jingle playing as I walked on stage Smiley

Congratulations to Nathan.  If nothing else, we had an extremely competitive election.

The bad news is you lost.
The good news is that we get to keep you in the Assembly.

You contributed a lot to the race. Too bad that the most active campaign has not been rewarded.

Cincinnatus running for senate does not affect your campaign. Only the Will of The People will be the judge of your worth. Tread lightly in their presence.

Don't worry 20RP12, that would still mean only four candidates in the race. After all, more competition will make this a more exciting and engaging race.

Go for it Cincinnatus!

Certainly, just let me know if there's something you want to write about Smiley

I am pleased to announce I have accepted to a position as a voice of The People beginning in January 2012.

Slowly my influence shall exceed that of the Senate and President himself Welcome aboard.  This is truly a victory for The People Evil

Tonight I am announcing, as I'm sure many of you have already guessed, that I will not seek election to the Senate in the upcoming At-Large election.  Many of my party members, and others I consider friends outside of the RPP have urged me to run again in this election.  I can honestly say that I'm sorry for the disappointment, but I just don't have the motivation to run the campaign that The People deserve.  Instead, I would like to throw my full support behind a candidate that is far more deserving than I.  Junkie has my complete support, and I know his intelligence, legal experience, and independent thought grant him the potential to be a fantastic Senator.  Few have worked so hard despite lose after lose in elections, few have the capacity to seek compromise for the good of the country.  If you care at all about moving the senate, and the country forward, I urge you to vote Junkie.

Beyond the senate race, I do intend to stay involved in Atlasia.  Throughout my time here, I have greatly enjoyed regional politics, and I am fully committed to the Northeast region.  No region in Atlasia has offered more competitive elections, and a greater chance of reform than the Northeast.  It is truly an active, and compassionate region, and one I'm glad to be a part of.  Thus, I shall seek re-election to the Assembly where I can continue to work with my colleagues in order to continue fixing and improving our region.  Perhaps in a few months I may be inclined to seek a higher post, but for now, I am content where I am.

Questions are permitted, but not encouraged.  Thank you.
