Not true. This is a really really Pro-GOP map. Two GOP reps are combined, but two open lean-GOP seats are created. Two Democrats are combined as well.

Keiko Orell gets a safe seat.

This seat is far far better than the current map for the GOP, and the only reason it dosent look that ways is because they doubled their numbers in 2010.

The GOP has basically been an accessory of the Deleo leadership this term in the house and they were fully rewarded for it. Had Deleo wanted too he could have eliminated around 8-12 Republicans.

Liberal Democrats are the real target.

I'm asking because Somerville is in the middle of a liberal area and changes on the House side were minor here.

Jason Lewis for one. On the House Side Stoneham is united, whereas on the Senate side Winchester is cracked.
