the main problem with the school is many of the teachers are godless and do not represent the community at all, and many students, under attack from teachers, have to stand their ground on morals

He's just adding to the pictures we've already seen of his son and wife.  Combine that with our knowledge of his full name and the location of the church he attends each week, and we're starting to build up quite a picture of the Frederick family.

Even though I dread shaking you three geniuses up, I feel the unpleasant need to point out to you the fact that I’ve disclosed on this forum less than 1% of what most people disclose on internet sites like MySpace/Facebook/etc.

Now, I know my functional Christian family life, with its full compliment of teeth and absence of racism and snake-handling, doesn’t provide much fodder for the forum tabloids…but that is why these proactive threads are so necessary - they exist to stimulate your ignorant bigoted minds.

But, alas, how terrible is wisdom when it brings no profit to the foolish…Without my attention-whoring, you’d be stuck wallowing in your usual dumb catatonic stupor, without ever realizing that you are the snake-handlers…and we couldn’t have that, now could we?

Good post, though I disagree with the conclusion I like the rhetoric and the method elucidated. 

I do, it is true, handle my snake sometimes, but on the other hand I don't consider your lifestyle to be in practice much different from other middle class breeders who aren't particularly religious.  Yes, the religion is pretty wild stuff, but then so is just sort of falling into that lifestyle through expectation and routine.  As much as I don't get the act of belief, I also don't get the desire to bring another generation into the world or toil so much.  In a way you are no more alienating than angus, and at least you have an overarching madness to explain your unfathomable taste.
