1. Senators will not get entered into electoral vote totals (South Dakota would get one vote.)

2. Senators would not be 2 per state, somehow.

This is another good one.  A very good one.  I change my mind.  I still want the 17th amendment gone though.

Yeah I like this too.

Repealing the 17th amendment might or night not be a good idea. In Michigan it would probably mean that we would have two Republican senators instead of two Democrats, but we still wouldn't have any Libertarians. I don't know how it would affect other states.

I thought it would be:
The Confederate States of America are forever to be known as the winner of the Civil War. The states of the Confederacy are free to succeed from the United States and to reform the CSA.

Senator States -you wouldn't let the ladies vote?

Well during the 2000 election a few women called the Limbaugh show and said they were going to vote for Gore because of the way he kissed his wife during the campaign. That one made me wonder about the wisdom of the 19th amendment too. But then most women aren't that goofy. Besides they fought hard to win the right so we gotta let them have it. Smiley

''The federal government or the state governments shall make no law prohibiting any individual from fulfilling his or her rights as established in the First Amendment in relation to sexual orientation.''

Thats to stop the fundies in their tracks. The First Amendment doesn't seem to apply to gay people in their view.

Um, what? How are gay people's first amendment rights being infringed upon?

People with different sexual preferences shouldn't have "Rights" like people of different races. I wouldn't want some drag queen dressing up in that garbage in my place of employment and be legally protected.
