I didn't vote because, with all of the factors combined, Louisiana is the most ignored state. In 2000, the results were relatively close, but in 2004 no one even paid attention to it; people automatically assumed that it would go for Bush.
Not true at all. This summer, there was big goings-on about Louisiana and many considered it a swing state. I and many others were very skeptical. The skeptecism was worth it.
Alaska is not at all ignored. It is a major tourist destination. Wyoming is sort of iconic as an ultra-conservative plains state. But do you ever hear a whisper about Delaware? Just moderate enough to be boring, just liberal enough to be out-of-play. Blame New Castle County.
