Colts might be the worst team in the NFL this year.

could be an interesting situation at no. 1 overall with Andrew Luck the consensus top player on the board.

As someone who is NOT a Colts fan living in Indiana, I have a feeling this will be a pretty good year. Smiley I mean, I guess people could rub it in to my face how Kansas City is never really good, but at least we keep our expectations realistic. I remember some Colts fans calling on Caldwell to get fired last season.

They should take him IMO.  I don't think the 49ers and Packers regretted adding Steve Young and Aaron Rodgers.  Peyton will understand.

What happened to him ?

If I had known this before, I would have picked Houston.

Colts ain't the worst team in the league this year (though they may play so so that they can get Andrew Luck), but you're missing something.  This is revenge for Texans.

Texans beat the Colts in the season opener last year and went 6-10.  They should not consider this anything.

or they could trade down and try to load up for a last Manning gasp.

If I had known this before, I would have picked Houston.

He's recovering from offseason neck surgery that he had in late May. He had to have another surgery about 10 days ago to clear things up and he is likely out for the season or at least until mid-December.  I've heard this may actually be a career-saving move by the doctors, not a career-threatener.

I doubt anyone is considering it anything except for a chance to exercise a lot of demons from the first 9 years.  Remember Rosencopter.

Has nothing to do with the rest of the regular season

From what I've seen, Ravens are completely dominating the line of scrimmage.

It'll end shortly after that.

Picking the Chiefs defense in Week 1 and expecting the Bills to play like the Bills is probably going to start off me with a big fat L.

Through the 12:00 pm games and including last Thursday night's game, I am a whopping 4-5.  I missed the Bengals/Browns, Falcons/Bears, Bills/Chiefs, Eagles/Rams, Lions/Bucs.

Nice pass there, Romo.  That's why they pay you the big bucks, right?
