Here is my impression, correct me if I'm wrong.

1. Among white non-Hispanic voters, Kerry and Obama did better among well-educated voters (ie more than a Bachelor's Degree) than previous Democratic candidates, while Bush and McCain did better among voters who had a Bachelor's degree or some college (or even less).

2. White non-Hispanic men are considerably more Republican than white non-Hispanic women.

3. All groups of white non-Hispanics swung towards the Republicans in the 2010 elections.


I, however, don't know the breakdown of white non-Hispanic voters by part affiliation, past or present.
