Wow. I'd never read that thread before since I wasn't really a regular poster until shortly after that point. Phil's behavior was totally insane and then transitioned to completely hilarious once it became clear it was a hoax. Kudos to the smart posters in that thread. Brittain, BRTD Eraser, Lief, Sbane..

I especially want to know why someone like Lief deserves credit when he said the following:

"Phil, please don't imply in any way, that supporters of Obama are in anyway affiliated with this disgusting criminal."

It's hilarious that brittain is still as much of a bitch about this now as he was then since he's whining about this in another thread, trying to compare it to exploiting the Giffords tragedy.

You know reading that Obama's speech thread again, I have to say that is one of the most comically blatant uses of Hitler Ate Sugar I have ever seen.

I think the stadium thread was the worst. The women-getting-attacked thread is sort of a gotcha on Phil when it turned out to be a hoax and is mostly just partisans taking different sides in a he-said-she-said interpretation of things.

The stadium thread on the other hand was just so bizarre.
