For some reason I thought that this was one of the bullfrog polls already up (I don't know why, I guess because it's easy to confuse Bob Riley with other generic, stupid reactionaries) but since it's not, and since Riley seemed like one of the more ridiculous longshots who's being mentioned as a Republican dark horse (until he was subpoenaed in a bingo corruption trial, apparently; I didn't know it was possible for bingo to be corrupt but apparently it is) I'm making it now.

Personally, I think that the bullfrog would negate a lot of Riley's appeal in the South because of its set-the-woods-on-fire populism and admirable fiscal record of never having spent a single cent more than it could afford. It holds traditional Democratic areas and most swing states, except maybe desert states out west that distrust its swamp provenance. I'm not sure what exactly the map would look like, but the bullfrog wins by a similar margin to Clinton and with a similar coalition.

Don't really know who Bob Riley is, but I'll say what I said before.

Bullfrog's Populist appeal saves the day as Appalchia votes resoundingly for their hero. Meanwhile, in the South, Bullfrog's roots in places like swamps win him Mississippi and Louisiana as people in the bayous vote heavily for him. Meanwhile, low social liberal turnout gives JCL Bob Riley New Hampshire, while business owners in Nevada are scared to death of Bull "Raging Populist" Frog.

I'd have to agree with you on your conclusion on Bullfrog's electability.
