For anyone in VA or interested in the 2005 VA govenor's race, I heard it on the radio today that the anticipated race is going to be Republican Jerry Kilgore going against Democrat Tim Kaine. The current govenor, Democrat Mark Warner, will not be able to run due to Virginia state law that prevents any govenor from serving two consecutive terms. Jerry Kilgore is the current attorney general while Tim Kaine is Mark Warner's Lt. Gov. I don't know very much about either of these candidates. But I'm sure I'll get to know a lot more in the next year.
