Your policies have been downloaded into a robot, as has your opponent. That means personality, campaign style, hometown, none of that matters, only your policies. How well do you do VS a your opposing party's median/average platform.

I'd lose by a single electoral vote.

Honestly, the map would look pretty crazy for anyone in this situation. Few people vote on issues- and when they do come up in a presidential campaign, it's usually in the context of integrity, morality, or leadership ability, none of which would matter in this hypothetical.

vs. a generic D.  I'd lose even worse against a generic R.  I wouldn't win a single country, probably not a single town, possibly not a single precinct.  Ah, the joys of being right...

That's why my map looks a bit odd. In general I say let people be gay if they want, and don't cut taxes so much it hurts services, but I'm also very pro-law enforcement. I can't see myself winning states with "Values Voters" or where social conservatism has some sway, and I am not "pro-union" even if I lean to the left on many issues. States like Michigan and Penn would not like me I fear, I'd anger up the right-wingers in these states without motivating the left types here. On the flip side, my stances against illegal immigration could win be over a few votes in the border states, while my view on what constitutes freedom is much more in line with western states than it is eastern.
