http://hipsterchristianity.com/quiz.php

73 / 120

High CHQ. You are a pretty progressive, stylish, hipster-leaning Christian, even while you could easily feel at home in a decidedly un-hip non-denominational church. You are conservative on some issues and liberal on others, and sometimes you grow weary of trendy "alt-Christianity." But make no mistake: You are a Christian hipster to at least some degree.

Apparently there is no such thing as a hipster Catholic, so the test doesn't really work for me. Sad

Note one of the options to question 11.

While none of those are true, I didn't notice that option. Wink

Not terribly surprising. A lot of the references went over my head.

right up with you, BRTD: 74!
fun quiz.  i loved the thought of getting to choose between a class on Christian Existentialism and one on Emergent Theology.

68/100.  Obviously, this makes you a fake Christian.  I suggest acid-washed denim.

Your Christian Hipster Quotient:
39 / 120

Laggard. You hardly even register on the CHQ scale. But fear not: This is not necessarily a negative thing. Your Christian faith is refreshingly independent of zeitgeisty movements, styles, and reinventions.

65/120.

It's odd how that's a low score whereas BRTD's 73 is a high score.

Without taking the quiz, I'll just go ahead and say "no".

I love the John MacArthur question. It implies about 5,000 different things...

The test is severely flawed in a few of its questions. If I were any kind of Christian hipster though, it'd probably be along the lines of the Tim Keller/John Piper neo-Reformed strain.

There are tons of Christian hipsters at Liberty, most of them are pretty annoying.

Of course not, but I don't need a quiz to tell me that. So what Dibble said.

This quiz doesn't apply to me because of question 11, which offers me no choice that I can actually choose for myself. A bunch of the others don't have answers that apply to me in any way.
