It's someone who would support keeping Mubarak in power. They obviously wouldn't agree with his idea of reinstating Saddam (while Saddam was still alive) or opposition to Israel but those aren't too important now.

He might be elected tribune, or perhaps even be one of those emperors who lasted two months or so, but the Senate would not be a body that opebo would do well in.

I still stand by that opebo would have no trouble winning an election in my State House district. Some might argue the Green or Independence candidate would win if the DFL ever nominated him, but the blacks would all vote for him because he's a Democrat, and the gays and hipsters would vote for him because they would legitimately like him. That's enough for a victory.
