I question this based on Bill Clinton's polling record. In considerably better circumstances he was polling much worse the Obama. A lot of moderate whites are more sympathetic to his presidency because of his being the first black. Also their would be probably be some meaningful shift of blacks away from the Dems(maybe 10%).
