That's a surprisingly strong showing for Obama. I think it has to do with South Dakota's low unemployment rate.

This is as surprising to me as Palin running even in Nevada. Weird polling numbers O_O

Obama is doing very well in South Dakota (given his performance in 2008), he is also doing better than expected in Nebraska... I wonder if the same is true for North Dakota?

I wonder if anyone has shown Palin these poll results and how she shapes up vs the others? They say she is in a bubble, but someone in her circle must know it is a suicide mission for her to get into it...or one would hope

I think what Bill Maher said about Sarah Palin is turning out to be true.

"She does get a little harder to defend, does she not? Between her and Michele Bachmann, I don’t know who knows history less. History is important. You've got to admit she got Sputnik all wrong. She gets everything all wrong. And the knives are out for her. They used to back off, and they can't do it anymore. She's just too stupid, even for them.”

So, let's analyze this.. the white Christian folksy hockey mom is statistically TIED with the black Kenyan closeted Muslim socialist in TEXAS, NEBRASKA AND SOUTH DAKOTA?! I think I may vote for her now in the Republican primary just so that she gets the nomination.

Gotta give credit to these states. They may be conservative and Republican but they're not stupid enough to vote for Palin.

This makes a lot more sense...maybe I was thinking of Nebraska...I was looking at multiple polls at once.

My bad
